'Losing Our Religion' Article of the week

So I hadn't managed to grab a copy of my beloved Stylist magazine in ages... (where do they hand it out on Wednesdays?!) But alas, I was able to get my mits on one this week and was once again reunited with one of my favorite freebie mags.

Engrossed with Alice Wignalls article titled 'Losing Our Religion', I near missed my stop! Her article really touched home and made me think about whether there is any room for Faith be it in the work place or in the Modern World for that fact. It was refreshing to read something that wasn't slating Christianity as so often the media likes to do.

Finding 'Faith' Again!

Below are some photographs I took of the talented Paloma Faith at the Neighbourhood Club: West London in May 2008!. Her live performance entitled 'Tales of Ordinary Madness' blew the crowd away and as if her amazing vocals wasn't enough, her theatrical mirror dress designed by Petra Storrs was a definite eye-catcher.

Happy Easter

It looked so good, I didn't want to eat it, BUT I DID!!

Laminate it!

November 2009 saw the Launch of highly anticipated Laminate Magazine. A unique fusion of British and Japanese culture, aiming to bridge the gap between the two and give platform to some of the best in Art, Design and Fashion from these two 'islands'.

I had the privilege of working on this first issue (issue00) which boasts two front covers: one British and one Japanese. Amongst others, the magazine holds exclusive interviews with the likes of Americans Next Top Model judge, and fashion photographer Nigel Barker, Zaha Hadid who has recently designed the Aquatic centre for 2010 Olympic stadium, Artist Julian Opie, and Fashion Photographer Rankin who talks about his career to date; from launching Dazed and Confused magazine in 1991, his wife: with whom he is besotted with, and his recent project/exhibition RANKIN Live.
